We are Teneale and Farrel Smith, Mama and Papa to two beautiful toddlers, Hannah and Neale (H&N). We reside in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa.
Farrel and I have multiple years of experience in importing and exporting and this exciting new experience has challenged us to offer you, our loyal clients, the very best.
Being parents has opened up our eyes to many ideas that not only benefit us and our kids, but you and yours too. With the day-to-day things we do for our kids, we saw a demand for fun and long-lasting products. Products that make life easier and fun!
Where it all started...
As parents, packing lunchboxes and finding school accessories for our little pre-schoolers is an everyday mission. I’m sure all parents would agree that getting kids to eat a well-balanced diet means packing a variety. For us, this meant sending more than one lunchbox to school, only for all the little lunchboxes to get lost in the process.
After hours of searching for lunchboxes with compartments and many of them getting lost in the interim, this gave way to the birth of our first idea, the Bento Box! The Bento Box is a 4+ compartment leak-proof lunchbox. Separate compartments can be used to pack food and snacks without any cross-contamination. This also encourages our kids to eat a well-balanced diet.
Solving our first problem gave us the confidence to tackle many other difficulties. Soon after, we saw a need for an extraordinary, lightweight, and waterproof backpack. An easy-to-clean backpack that could also be sanitised to keep our kids germ-free, and fun to keep our kids smiling from ear to ear.
We have made it our mission to source high-quality and fun products that simplify our lives as parents and amplify the lives of our kids.
